The iPad Pro 11-Inch (Wi-Fi Only – 4th Gen) has an 11″ fully-laminated, antireflective “Liquid Retina” display with a resolution of 2388×1668 and LED backlighting (264 ppi, 600 nits), both of which are encased in a thin black bezel and enclosed in a flat, rounded-corner, flat-sided casing. Either silver or a deeper “Space Gray” hue is available for the back.
An Apple M2 processor running at 3.49 GHz, with 8 cores (four performance cores and four efficiency cores), a 10-core GPU, a 16-core Neural Engine, and 100 GB/s of memory bandwidth, powers this iPad Pro. In addition to LiDAR, external keyboards and trackpads, and the Apple Pencil 2nd Gen (A2051, MU8F2AM/A, US$129), which charges via a magnetic connection on the side of the device, the iPad Pro 11″ (4th Gen) models also support these features. However, the Apple Pencil adds a new “Hover” feature that highlights where the pencil will land before touching the surface.
The iPad Pro 11″ (4th Gen) models contain a front-mounted 12 megapixel “TrueDepth” camera that records 1080p video and supports the “Center Stage” function, which automatically pans and zooms to keep subjects in frame. This camera is similar to its predecessor’s. Moreover, it allows “Face ID” authentication. With a 12 megapixel wide angle and a 10 megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, it sports a dual back camera “system.”
