The iPad Pro 12.9-Inch (Wi-Fi Only – 6th Gen) comes with a fully-laminated, antireflective, mini-LED backlit 2732×2048 “Liquid Retina XDR” display, which is bordered by a thin black bezel and housed in a sleek casing with rounded edges and flat sides. Either silver or a deeper “Space Gray” hue is available for the back.

An Apple M2 processor running at 3.49 GHz, with 8 cores (four performance cores and four efficiency cores), a 10-core GPU, a 16-core Neural Engine, and 100 GB/s of memory bandwidth, powers this iPad Pro. It comes with 8 GB of onboard Memory and storage options of 128 GB, 256 GB, or 512 GB.

There are 8 GB of inbuilt Memory on it. It has 16 GB of inbuilt RAM and can be customised with 1 TB or 2 TB of storage. A Thunderbolt and USB 4 port are present.

The Apple Pencil 2nd Gen (A2051, MU8F2AM/A, US$129), which charges via a magnetic connection on the side of the device, adds a new “Hover” feature that highlights where the pencil will land before touching the surface, as do the iPad Pro 12.9″ (6th Gen) models’ support for LiDAR, external keyboards and trackpads, and LiDAR.

The iPad Pro 12.9″ (6th Gen) models, just like their predecessors, contain a front-mounted 12 megapixel “TrueDepth” camera that records 1080p video and supports the “Center Stage” function that automatically pans and zooms to keep subjects in frame. Moreover, it allows “Face ID” authentication. With a 12 megapixel wide angle and a 10 megapixel ultra-wide angle lens, it sports a dual back camera “system.”

Further connectivity options include concurrent dual-band 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6E) with 2×2 MIMO and Bluetooth 5.3, in addition to Thunderbolt and USB 4. Moreover, it contains a four speaker system and five microphones.

The battery life of this iPad Pro model is reportedly 10 hours “surfing the web on Wi-Fior watching video.”
